Graeme Crothall
Chairman

Graeme has over 40 years experience in building successful hospital EVS companies, three of which today are large divisions of international public companies. Graeme founded Xanitos in 2008. He holds an MS (math) degree from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Michael Bailey
Chief Operating Officer

Michael is President and COO of Xanitos and has 30 years experience in hospital EVS and central laundry management working for three of the companies Graeme Crothall founded. Michael recently graduated from the Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program.

Joseph Byrum

Joe has 26 years experience in healthcare food service management and was President of Morrison Management Services from 1984-1992. Currently he is Chairman and CEO of Continental Gulf, Inc. with extensive investments in land development and finance, and serves on several corporate boards. Joe attended Cumberland University from 1964-67.

Katherine D. Crothall, PhD

Kathy has founded and built three companies in the medical instrument field, and is launching a fourth. She founded and was CEO of Animas Corporation, a leading manufacturer of insulin infusion pumps until its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in 2006. Prior to Animas, Kathy was Founder and CEO of Luxar Corporation, a manufacturer of CO2 lasers for oral surgery, and of Laakmann Electro-Optics, Inc. which manufactured CO2 lasers for medical and scientific applications. An overseer at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, Kathy received her BS from University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and her PhD from University of Southern California in 1976.

William A. "Bill" Graham, IV

Bill has been the sole owner of The Graham Company, one of the largest insurance agencies in the country, since 1972, and was elected CEO in 1999. He is also a director of several other companies. Bill graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University and is a member of the Bucknell University Board of Trustees.

Chris Grant

Chris is Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Kaiser Permanente's Venture Capital and Corporate Development Group formed in 2000. Chris is a director of numerous portfolio companies. Previously he worked for Kaiser Permanente in business development and earlier held several positions in business development at the Rockwell International Corp. Chris has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of California.

Thomas R. Morse

Tom is Managing Partner of Liberty Venture Partners which he founded in 1996 following several years as a partner at Philadelphia Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. Tom is a director of several portfolio companies. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served on nuclear submarines before gaining his MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

David Schulte

David is a principle of Kaiser Permanente Ventures and has worked in investment banking with JPMorgan and Piper Jaffray before joining Kaiser Permanente Ventures in 2003 where he focuses on investments in medical device technology, healthcare services, and healthcare information technology companies. He graduated with a BA degree from St. John's University before earning a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University.
