Reduced Hospital-Acquired Infections
The Xanitos Room Optimization™ (XRO) system utilizes a patent-pending system to clean patient rooms that reduces the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections. Quiet, mobile, HEPA double-filtered vacuums remove bacteria-carrying dust particles from the floor, vents and furniture surfaces. Redesigned cleaning carts keep clean vs. dirty items apart. Single-use microfiber mops and germicidal wipes reduce the risk of spreading infections via the cleaning process.
Improved Patient Satisfaction
Patient satisfaction with housekeeping is directly related to the patient’s awareness that their room has been thoroughly cleaned. This awareness, plus a housekeeper who is visible and trained for meaningful patient interaction, will increase patient satisfaction scores in third party surveys and HCAHPS. Our Patient Satisfaction Program focuses on positive interaction with patients and ensures that they are well aware that their room has been thoroughly cleaned each day. We give our teams extensive hospitality training. We also provide patient ambassadors, a Freshen-Up Service, and other special touches.
Increased Patient Throughput
The XRO system improves your patient throughput. The XRO teams are supplemented with floating housekeepers available to perform early discharge cleans and answer all other calls for service. This ensures that the teams will not be interrupted and we can predict accurately when they will complete their allotted rooms. This predictability allows us to schedule the right number of rooms to each team so that daily routine cleaning is completed just prior to peak patient discharge time. The teams are then released to perform discharge cleaning, resulting in optimal discharge room turnaround times.
